Lounge or bar in Noku Kyoto

We loved this hotel and it was our favourite place we stayed in during our Japan trip. The location is really great - the park is just across the road and central Kyoto is easily reached on foot. There’s a Family Mart literally next door to the hotel. Our room was bigger & brighter than we expected and it was extremely clean. The complimentary mini bar, with high quality drinks, was much appreciated. Housekeeping did such a great job every day and the whole hotel felt very well maintained. Highly recommend this hotel!

Restaurant/places to eat in Noku Kyoto

Really impressed with the size of our room, which was very spacious, especially for a hotel in Japan. Extremely comfortable beds, enjoyed the lounge area, desk area and lots of room for our luggage. The location was excellent, with a subway station next to the entry, a konbini on the other side, and lots of access to buses nearby.

The style and feel of the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were a very generous size and peaceful - they even had space for luggage. The hotel was quiet and clean. The location is right next to a subway stop so very convenient and the area was lovely and quiet - and right near the Imperial Palace and park. We didn't use the restaurant but reception were always helpful. Our room was ready early and we were able to store luggage when we checked out without a fuss.

Lounge or bar in Noku Kyoto

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful to us when we had questions; we really felt taken-care-of. As a bonus, they made the process of shipping our luggage to the next hotel totally seamless (They used Yamato transport). The whole hotel is beautiful and serene, and the room-- from the lighting to the bed and even the tub-- was so relaxing after a day of traveling. If we ever visit Kyoto again, we know exactly where we'll be staying.

Loved the spacious rooms, the little extra that’s much appreciated such as green tea candies , green tea and free mini bar! Next door to subway also very convenient! Also very nice and clean rooms! Nice and friendly staff. Everything very nice. A bit far to walk to Gion and that part in the heat but buses and subway all were very close !

Loved the quiet room. Super super quiet. The rooms are quite big and have everything you need. Great shampoo! The location is amazing as well. Steps from the Imperial Palace Gardens. Nice cafe in the lobby.

Excellent hotel overall. They provide a useful map of the local area showing restaurants and shops. Very good location for the palace grounds and directly above a metro station (Exit 4), although there are quite a few stairs to negotiate via that route. Rooms at the back of the hotel were certainly quiet enough. Handy location with a FamilyMart store right next door and buses close by. Excellent, foreigner-friendly, sushi restaurant (Shigetomi) just two minutes walk.

Great hotel in Kyoto, located near a metro and bus stop, very easy to move around. A 5 min walk from the Imperial Gardens, highly recommend visiting the Palace. Room was spacious and cleaned daily, staff very helpful and friendly. If you are traveling from Tokyo to here, I would recommend shipping your large suitcases.
